Dream Series No. 2, Porcelain fragments from the Ming, Qing and Song Dynasties, 2006-2008As mentioned in my 1 minute blog about the Brit Awards, I blogged about Lady Gaga's outfit and how it looked liked it was inspired by ceramic or porcelain. Well, it reminded me of a Beijing artist I came across awhile back. His name is Li Xiaofeng. He creates garments made from porcelain fragments from the Ming, Qing and Song dynasties.
The artist currently has an exhibition from November 2008 - Feb 2009 at the Virginia Miller Galleries in Miami, Florida so not much longer if you are in the area.
